A Pure Scottish Morning with the Happy Tartan Girls
There’s no better way to start a day of adventure in Scotland than with a Full Scottish Breakfast — and the Happy Tartan Girls know it! The morning light spilled through the tartan curtains as the girls gathered around the wooden table, eyes wide and tummies rumbling.
The plates were loaded high — eggs sunny and golden, sausages sizzling, tattie scones stacked like treasure, crispy bacon, haggis, black pudding, beans, toast, and a pot of tea steaming in the middle. The kind of breakfast that could feed a Highland army (or at least six giggling girls in colourful tartans!).
Iona, ever the dreamy artist, blinked at the feast before her and gasped,
“Wow… so much food!”
Bonnie burst out laughing, “We’ll need to dance it off after this!”
Blaire was already planning their route for the day — adventures awaited across Edinburgh’s cobbled streets and castle views, but first, they needed the fuel only a true Scottish breakfast could give.
Because in Scotland, breakfast isn’t just a meal — it’s a mission. A hearty beginning that warms the heart, fills the belly, and keeps the smiles going strong.
